Smart hubs and enclosures for telecom, utilities and private infrastructure
The same NEMA-rated hubs, power systems and documentation we build for state DOTs, delivered to carriers, cable operators, utilities, ports and campuses that need outdoor network and sensor electronics to work the first time.
Telecom carriers and cable operators
Pole and pedestal smart hubs for small cells, Wi-Fi, IoT gateways and edge compute: conditioned power, PoE switching, surge protection, remote access and environmental monitoring in NEMA 4X enclosures. Staged by site in our lab and installed with licensed crews.
Utilities
Enclosures for substation-adjacent and right-of-way sensors, meters, cameras and radios; solar power for remote monitoring points; cellular backhaul with VPN; SNMP monitoring that ties into the utility's operations center.
Ports, campuses and developers
Gate counting and access automation, parking signage networks with cellular backup, camera analytics, roadside readers and the network, cybersecurity and compliance packages that owners require before anything connects to their enterprise.
A documented hub, not a box of parts
- Enclosure selection and thermal design: NEMA 3R/4/4X, IP66-IP68, aluminum or stainless, sun shields, vents, heaters or cooling
- Subpanel layout with DIN rail, wire duct, labeled terminals and ferruled conductors to NEC color conventions
- AC and 48 VDC distribution, smart UPS, battery bank, breakers, surge protection on power, data and antenna lines, grounding
- Managed PoE switching, fiber termination, cellular routers with static IP, VPN and failover
- Door, tamper, temperature and humidity sensors reporting over SNMP
- Bill of materials with alternates, wiring and network drawings, work instructions, acceptance test and as-builts
- Monitoring from day one through our NOC, or handed over to yours

Commercial work FAQ
Do you work for private companies as well as agencies?
Yes. Telecom carriers, cable operators, utilities, port operators, developers and corporate campuses hire us for the same roadside and outdoor electronics engineering we deliver to DOTs, usually with faster procurement.
Can you stage equipment for a carrier rollout?
Yes. Our Northern Virginia lab stages, configures, labels and burn-in tests enclosures and electronics by site, packs them for delivery and provides as-built documentation. Our PYLON DC team handles rack-and-stack and smart-hands work in Northern Virginia data centers.
Which regions do you serve?
Engineering and lab work nationwide; installation and field services in the Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland region with our own crews, and elsewhere with licensed local partners under our management.
Ready to scope it?
Send us the corridor, the site count and the problem. We will come back with an approach, not a brochure.
